Working principle
The elevator power lock typically operates by combining a mechanical lock with an electrical switch. When the key is inserted into the power lock and turned, the mechanical lock opens, simultaneously triggering the electrical switch to connect or disconnect the elevator's power circuit. Common power locks include key-type and password-type. Key-type power locks require a special key to operate, while password-type locks control the power by entering the correct code.
